So many beautiful places and even so many choices

As most of you know Italy has beautiful mountains, cities, beaches, nature and much more. This is part of why we are looking for a home in Italy. But the more beautiful places, the more difficult our search becomes. If all goes well we will be travelling to Italy at the end of summer to see, search and taste in real instead of on the internet.

We have been searching in more areas over the past weeks. Friends and relatives, but also our own curiosity has made us search in other regions than Marche and Umbria. Choices….pfew…

Italy, Spain or Portugal

Our search even expanded to Spain and Portugal. Totally different and also beautiful. Some places as green as in Italy and some places dry and in summers very hot.

By searching in these 2 countries we realized that Italy is much more appealing to us. So back to house hunting in Italy. We decided to check out some other areas, both on our own initiative and suggested by friends.

Everything is about choices. How much land, how many square meters both for the house as the property. Close to a city or far enough the enjoy the silence of nature. Choices about living in the mountains with high and low parts. For me with a knee prosthesis this is a serious thing.

We believe that when we see the house and smell the area we know if it is the place for us or not. We feel it to know it.
