Meet Pepper

Pepper is our adoption dog from Greece. She came to the Netherlands with her sister (who is adopted by another family) and into our lives in January 2021 and she brings a lot of joy. And sometimes she drives us crazy. She is small, a mixed race and has a pepper or caramel colored hair. Because of her size is it easy to take her with us in the car. She joins us during our journey and if we move to Italy, Pepper will come with us.

Training

As Pepper was a stray dog and now lives as our pet, it takes time to get her to trust us that we will not abandon her. She has her quirks and crazy moments, but is so adorable. Her energy level is still high which means we (better said Rob) are taking long walks with her, letting her run and rage in the garden and afterwards she curls up in her basket to rest. She needs some more consistency and training on some aspects to smoothen the rough edges, but for a 1 year old she is doing great.

We also have a 9 year old dwarf rabbit of who we expect not to live many more years and to be able to move to Italy with us. He looks still very healthy, but as a dwarf rabbit Cino is really old. Surprisingly he and Pepper are getting along quite good, although letting them play together is not an option 😉
